
According to Sports Kyunghyang, Kang Seo-ha died on the morning of July 14 after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 31 years old. Her funeral is being held at Room 8 of the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in Banpo-dong.
Despite her illness, Kang Seo-ha continued to pursue her acting career with passion, recently completing her leading role in the upcoming film “In the Net”. Friends and colleagues shared that she remained warm and considerate until the very end, always showing a bright demeanor.

From Music Videos to Drama Stardom
Kang Seo-ha graduated from the Korea National University of Arts – School of Drama and began her entertainment career in 2012 by appearing in the music video for Brave Guys’ “Growing Distant”. She made her official acting debut in JTBC’s drama “Seonam Girls High School Investigators”.

Over the years, she built a steady and reliable acting portfolio, starring in productions such as: KBS’s “Assembly”, MBC’s “The Flower in Prison”, KBS’s “First Love, Again” and “Waves, Waves”, SBS’s “Heart Surgeons” and “Nobody Knows”.
In 2023, she signed an exclusive contract with Insight MCN, a talent agency jointly established by musical production company Insight Entertainment and creator management firm Showtime Crew.
Final Farewell
Kang Seo-ha’s funeral will be held at 7:40 AM on July 16, followed by cremation at Seoul Memorial Park. Her final resting place will be at the family burial site in Haman, South Gyeongsang Province.
